I do this work because many women carry more than people see. They lead at work, support others at home, and often hold together the moving parts of everyday life. My background in education, leadership, and service-connected communities has shaped how I support women with care, clarity, and respect.

About Jana
-

Jana Yost, M.A. (CMH, HSC), ECSE
Based in Central California, Jana Yost is the founder of JNY Coaching & Consulting, where she provides boutique coaching and consulting services for women who carry significant responsibility in their personal and professional lives. Her work is intentionally high-touch and personalized, supporting educators, and military, veteran, and first responder spouses as they navigate leadership, transition, and purposeful steps.
My work is rooted in deep respect for the families who stand beside those who serve, including military, police, and fire families.
Born and raised in the Central Valley, military life took me away for seasons and eventually brought me back home, deepening my appreciation for the people and sense of community here. Living in different places shaped how I see service, leadership and taking care of people. That perspective shapes how I support women navigating real life.
I hold two Master’s degrees: one in Clinical Mental Health and one in Human Services Counseling:Military, along with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology Allied Health from California State University, Fresno, where I was also a college athlete. I bring 15 years of experience teaching and coaching across private, public, international, and Department of Defense school settings. My experience as a military spouse gives me a unique perspective on resilience, leadership, and personal growth.
When I’m not supporting others, I love to travel, explore new places, and experience different cultures. I’m passionate about creating a supportive space for women to reconnect with themselves and step confidently into their next season.
Jana works with military wives, police wives, fire wives, and women navigating leadership and transition within service culture.
